Welcome to Shine Mission. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Shine Mission website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our website after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Services

Shine Mission provides culinary services including but not limited to:

• Private chef experiences
• Cooking workshops and classes
• Weekly meal preparation services
• One-on-one culinary mentorship
• Special event catering

Service descriptions on our website are provided for informational purposes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice.

3. Booking and Payment

When you book a service with Shine Mission, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Pay all applicable fees and charges
• Comply with our cancellation and rescheduling policies

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Workshops

Workshops may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled workshop are non-refundable but may be applied as credit toward future workshops.

Private Chef Experiences and Catering

Cancellations made at least one week (7 days) before the scheduled date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made with less than one week notice will forfeit 50% of the booking fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable.

Meal Preparation Services

Weekly meal preparation services can be paused or cancelled with 3 days notice before the next scheduled delivery. No refunds are provided for completed deliveries.

Mentorship

Monthly mentorship sessions require a minimum three-month commitment. Individual sessions may be rescheduled with 48 hours notice. Early termination of mentorship programs is non-refundable.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use our website or services for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the website or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Collect or store personal data about other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Shine Mission website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and recipes, is the property of Shine Mission and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or service marks without authorization
• Create derivative works based on our content
• Use our content for commercial purposes without a license

Recipes and techniques learned through our services are for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

You are responsible for accurately communicating all dietary restrictions, food allergies, and health concerns when booking our services. While we make every effort to accommodate your requirements, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have severe food allergies, please discuss this with us before booking.

8. Health and Safety

By participating in our workshops or services, you acknowledge that cooking involves inherent risks including but not limited to cuts, burns, and other injuries. You agree to:

• Follow all safety instructions provided
• Use equipment properly and carefully
• Inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your participation
• Take responsibility for your own safety

9. Liability and Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee specific results from our services
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service

We are not responsible for injuries, property damage, or losses resulting from your use of our services, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Photography and Media

During workshops and events, we may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. By attending our services, you consent to being photographed or recorded and grant us permission to use such media in our marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us in writing before the event.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of use of third-party sites. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shine Mission, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
